No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well. We've put together a list of essential travel tips that will get your Ceva vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a worry-free flight experience is to plan ahead. Start with the essentials: passport, boarding pass, bank cards and daily medications. Next, take on board items that'll help while away those hours, like your laptop or a good book. You'll also want to bring your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs. And of course, don't forget to squeeze in toiletries like a toothbrush, deodorant and a spare set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Pick a pair of slip-on shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to take a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
