Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Embonas could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've rounded up some useful tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you've got all the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and something to read. Next, make room in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Pick shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. To lessen your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
