If you're not prepared, air travel can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a pain-free start to your vacation in Forgue. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you've got all the right things. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp objects (like a knife or scissors) lurking in your carry-on luggage. Other prohibited items include explosive or flammable substances, such as fuel and fireworks, and gels and liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your aircraft are not the place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and remember to take a sweater as it can get quite cool inside the cabin. Closed-toed, flat shoes are also a sensible choice.
- The result of sustained periods of inactivity, DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. But the good news is there are numerous ways to lower your risk of developing it. Drink plenty of water, walk around the cabin as often as you can and wear compression socks to help improve your circulation.
