Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well prepared. We've put together a list of handy tips that will help get your Hatton vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having an awesome flight experience is to plan ahead. Start with the essentials: passport, boarding pass, cash and medications. Next, bring on board items that'll help while away those hours, like your laptop or a magazine. It's also a wise idea to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of headphones. Finally, don't forget to squeeze in toiletries like a toothbrush, cleansing wipes and a clean set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fireworks, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
