We've pulled together all the info you need to make your journey a stress-free experience. Follow our insider tips and you'll be breezing through the airport and having a ball in Oasis before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling novel and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you plan to take a short snooze, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Pick easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
