Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Rosalia could be simple and straightforward or it could go on forever. We've compiled some useful travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a stress-free experience if you pack the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare set of clothes and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, any daily medications and perhaps a neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Consider your footwear choice with care too, as swollen feet can be a side effect of flying. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a sensible way to go.
- The serious condition known as DVT (deep vein thrombosis) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation. Walking up and down the aisle and doing foot and leg exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this happening. Wearing a quality pair of compression socks or tights also helps reduce the risk.
