Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Webb could be as easy as pie or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some useful tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a great experience if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a magazine or two. Next, leave space in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are flat and easy to slip on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
