If you're poorly prepared, traveling can be a real challenge. But there's no need to panic. Follow these helpful hints for a worry-free start to your getaway in Žakovce. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a great experience if you've got all the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Opt for a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a sweater in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
