“Although it definitely is showing its age and could use an update, we were satisfied with our stay. It's a good location for hiking and close to several good food places (within 15 minutes). The air conditioning was nice and cool and the beds were decent. All my interactions with staff were pleasant and they helped whenever possible. I wish the breakfast area had a bit more room for people getting food, waiting, and then seating because everything was super close together, but not impossible to...

“Great place to stay. Close to beaches, Chesterton Market, Michigan City. and more.. Just off interstate. Staff were so helpful. Decent breakfast. We only received 1 hand towel, should have asked for more. We would definitely stayhere again.”

“Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner.”

“this was more like an Air B&B experience than a hotel experience. Very comfortable beds and bedding, beautiful property, friendly communication with host.”

“Did not even have a coffee pod in my room. Boxes upon boxes stacked in the dirty front desk area. Building and grounds grossly neglected. Was not expecting it to be this bad. My advice to the front desk woman was to sell the property asap. Avoid until massive renovations are done.”

“Tuve problemas con la reservación al llegar al hotel. No aparecía la reserva en el sistema de hotel. Aparentemente Expedía no envío la información. Me comuniqué con expedía en múltiples ocasiones y no me resolvieron. Terminé pagándole al hotel nuevamente la reservación ya que expedía nunca pudo arreglar la situación. Pero en el hotel todos los empleados me quisieron ayudar y me trataron muy bien. Recomiendo el hotel”

“Never stayed bugs in room”

“Supposedly open during construction, drove there only to find out you can’t even see the entrance. Can’t stay if you can’t get in.”

“Bathroom floors were dirty and sticky. Room was supposed to have blackout curtains…room had sun shining through the windows at 5:30AM. Awful!! Manager was very rude and said they knew the curtain wasn’t there/damaged and have a curtain on order - sorry that’s unacceptable for someone to stay in the room!! Never would stay there again.”

“A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. There was no A/C in the lobby and there were dehumidifiers running in the halls. When we checked in I was not asked for ID or a credit...
