"Pros: Staff was friendly. Place was expectedly though not exceptionally clean. AC was nice. Shower was nice. Rooms were a good size. No drinking water (except bottled available) but did have coffee and hot water available. Microwave available. Ice machine available. There are places to sit and watch the sunrise/sunset on the lake. Restaurant nearby when open. Cons: No elevator to second floor. Our room did not have a lake view, but rather of the parking lot, though we didn't mind as we didn't spend a lot of time there. Beds were not the most comfortable. AC would not keep a consistent temp so we were often too warm or too cold."

"We had the last available room. It was small and only had a double bed. The mattress was very soft and my wife and I prefer a firm mattress. The weather was warm enough that we opened a window for fresh air. The register for heat was beneath the window and apparently the furnace was delivering heat in our already too warm room. There was no method to control the heat in this room except opening a window. Bottom line, we had a nice stay and the things I noticed were not significant enough to ruin our visit. I would stay here again but not in the same room."

"Lovely hotel and I believe ALL the rooms have a wonderful view of Lake Superior! hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was terrific! Lots of food choices. We would definately stay again when in the area."
