"Absolutely disgusting- arrived at the room - faeces in the toilet (obviously been there a while), went to reception and was told it’s back wash from other toilets, I’m a plumbing and heating engineer and this is not clearly the case. They gave me a new room, I asked if this one would be clean, was told “ it should be”, shouldn’t you check it first ? It’ll be fine - No customer service here, find somewhere else to stay - needs knocking down"

"Another lovely stay at this hotel. We had a lovely 1st floor room with a floor to ceiling view of the lake. Great choice for breakfast. We used the pool & spa, that was an extra £10 each. It was nice when it used to be included in your stay. Pool was a bit on the cold side. Only negative was the noise of people going to bed and chatting down the corridor all through the night, being woken up at 4am with that wasn't great."

"Very nice stay as a regular marriot guest. Unfortunately it seems the breakfast in my opinion has gone a little down hill. Hash browns not so crispy and the sausages seem a little less meaty. Always nice to have a swim even though the water is always cold. The sauna is lovely however. A lot of hotels now charge for parking as an extra income. It's a shame this hotel now does the same."

"Bathroom need some shelves. Over all the place could do with some touch ups and cleaning. Wifi was out but that a city issue. Want told prior to asking. Small fridge and microwave in room would be nice. Did have cookies at coffee station. $10 parking that was on contract but wasn't clearly marked. Nice place and in lovely spot."
