My Favorite Place to Stay In Sylva
Convenient, Clean, and Friendly. I love staying here when I visit my son in school! The best part is that we can bring the family dog for a weekend reunion with his human brother!

We’re in our late 60’s and it would be nice to hav
Great visit. We stay at that hotel twice a year. Water pressure was very low in the shower and we are in our late 60’s so it would be nice to have 1st floor room. Climbing stairs is a little difficult for us.

Great place to stay. The only complaint is the shower. The shower head is too low. My wife is 5’3” and she had to duck. I’m 6’5” hit Mr mid chest.

Christmas in Sylva
Such a great location. We only booked one night as we were in the area for an event at Western Carolina University. I would love to come back with more time to check out all the nearby shops and cute restaurants/brewery. The weather was rainy and dreary but the Nearby Christmas decorations made it look like something straight out of a Hallmark movie.

Reasonably priced, clean, nice property. Excellent location to Sylva proper & roughly 6 miles from WCU campus. Plan on staying there on my next trip to the area.

The property itself is fine. My review is more or less about the experience which was strangely poor. An employee of some sort (I presume) barged into my room unannounced at some point but of course quickly exited. I never really found out what that was about. Also I was awoken from a nap shortly after by another employee knocking on the door. I had trouble sleeping throughout the night and early morning because someone was letting their loud truck (which was parked right by my room) run for what seemed like several hours for reasons unknown. I could hear people in the room above constantly. Can’t recommend.

James, we sincerely apologize for your experience. Our cleaners typically keep track of which guests have and have not checked out. We assume that there was a mixup with your room, and we apologize for this. There is no excuse for this, and we will do better in the future to create a better system with less errors. This property is so sweet nestled into downtown. You can walk to and from several stores, restaurats, and churches. It's a short drive from Western Carolina University, Cherokee, Bryson City and move. We love Sylva!

The Blue Ridge Inn is a great place in Downtown Sylva. It was super clean and well maintained. The location is perfect.
