“Staff were friendly, room was good size for us and our two dogs, found the bed rather firm for us and was rather closer to the motorway than I realised you would have heard traffic all the time if the window was open but luckily there was a fan. The on site cafe was great. Pet friendly, lovely people and good food. Would stay there again for that reason. ”

“I chose this hotel to be near the racecourse. It is 30sec away. There is one even nearer but it is a Holiday Inn Express. Potential guests should understand this is an 'unstaffed' hotel. No kitchen, no meals and no concierge. You have a keypad for the main door and another one for your room. You let yourself in and out. And there is a machine where you can leave a tip!
