“This was the perfect location for us to stay to be able to visit Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Chester, just 10mins drive from each. I avoided hotels in Chester due to lack of easy parking options but this one was great. Really nice rooms, clean and modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and continental choices. We loved the warm cookie at check in too - a nice touch! Staff were all very nice and friendly.”

“Warm welcome and beautiful room. Ate lunch in the Nelson bar on my own while waiting for partner to arrive and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Same waiter on the evening - George. He was chatty funny and even sung for us - a fabulous member of staff. The room was beautiful and spa experience was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the live piano music on the evening with a cheeky cocktail or two! Will definitely stay again! ”

“We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester. The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries. I...

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel.”
