Beautiful place in CM

The location of Sang Serene House is perfect. So very quite nesstled at the bottom of the mountains in Chiang Mai but within a short distance from the city. The intire place is imaculate, cleaned and polished every day always smells great and looks beautiful inside and out. Rooms are very comfortable with great views, staff and fantastic and very helpfull. Tanin the owner and manager runs this amazing place so well. I liked this place so much I lived there for over a year some years ago and is always a place for me to call home when I return. Would highly recomend Sang Serene House to anybody

Nice place, but a bit overpriced

Nice quiet place. You do need your own wheels to stay there. Probably $5-$10 USD overpriced considering that there is no breakfast.

The hotel conditions are acceptable. The reception close at 18:00! There isn't a proper space for living the baggage at the reception. The staff is not professional.

Nice stay

I stayed for 6 nights. The hotel is in a remote area, very quite and peace. The traffic in the west and northwest was really bad. I had traffic jam every night in the main roads for at least 20 minutes.....i tried to use different roads to get to the hotel, but it seemed that there was no way to escape from the traffic jam. Staffs can speak English, but not very well. No soap in the room, pls being your own. Water boiler was a broken one. Big room with balcony. The air was very fresh and you can see chickens walking around. The cats were naughty jumping into my balcony and scatched my scarfs. No escalator in the hotel. I am lucky to leave on the gound floor. Overall was a nice stay.
