I have stayed in this hotel multiple times. While not fancy, I have always lives the proximity to the airport. The bar is nice . Food is good. And overall the service is good. This last atay I found out tbe hard way that this hotel supports airlines in the event of flight issues and cancellations. I came back to thebhotel on my last night to find the lobby flooded with people holding vouchers.
The hotel stopped answering their phones for room service for existing guests. Had to walk down and order to find a shrunken menu and then wait in the lobby 90min for an overcooked burger. They were completely overwhelmed and not staffed or capable of handling this.
I think it is a great thing to support stranded traveler. Been there. Howevwr, don’t do it if tou can not handle the capacity. It turns into a terrible experience foe your existing guests who shouldn’t have to suffer for the money you want from the airlines. Terrible.
