โOwner was very nice and friendly. Itโs located next to the ancient site so my wife and I can just walk out the door and explore all the views of the town. Property was beautiful with unique design and spacious. Itโs great experience different from the usual hotels staying.โ
โLoved the property, the room and the location! The staff were super helpful reaching out prior to check in to coordinate arrival but also shared many great links to current events, restaurants, things to do etc. The room and shower were lovely, clean and spacious. The location could not have been better. Just at the top of the Sassi so easy to get to one of the main boulevards with many restaurants in the new section overlooking the Sassi as well as the Sassi itself. Parking was not available...
โIt was an amazing location right in the centre of the old town. Very beautiful and quiet. Many steps involved but it was high up so less than other places and if you are going to Matera, you need to be good with steps. Wish weโd stayed 2-3 nights. โ
โAll staff working in Corte san pietro had their own responsibility to help and support their guest, perfectly. It was my best choice to stay in Matera and because of their great hospitality, we had a wonderful honeymoon in Italy.

โExcellent hotel and stay apart from one thing - the bathroom door is frosted glass. I will never understand why hotels do this - I came here for a romantic break but my husband can see the silhouette of me on the toilet! โ
