Simply wonderful and lovely with attention to detail. Nice touches like fresh flower and double sink bathrooms. Beautiful little town wish we had more time to stay. Self check in property. Was lower floor with alley and restaurant patio outside windows but no real noise. The ambiance was terrific.

Our stay was ok. Delicious breakfast. Great location but we have a couple gripes; the noise from the restaurant cleanup once that closed. It’s easy to forget guests may be trying to get sleep when the restaurant crew are trying to cleanup and get home. Just was a little noisy. The bigger issue was the neighbors automatic lights kept going on and off all night lighting our room up off and on all night. That should to be addressed somehow by the owners of this B&B.

I would absolutely recommend the Woolmarket House to anyone staying in Chipping Campden. It has all the charm of a 16th century home with the conveniences and cleanliness of a high-end hotel.

Had a fabulously relaxing couple of nights in this charming and cosy BnB. The room was everything we could have asked for and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Pros: World class restaurant. Mussels were incredible. Breakfast was lovely and included. Friendly staff. Our room was quaint with historical fireplace, decorated beautifully. Location was convenient and free street parking was easy to find. Cons: Bed was extremely hard and lumpy. Pillows were flat. Neither of us slept well. We stayed in the executive room on the bottom floor. Dining tables were on the exterior walk of our room. Because there is no a/c windows needed to stay open, so could hear conversations of patrons until restaurant closed.

This is a small B&B type establishment above an affiliated restaurant. It is tastefully decorated, and creative. Potential guests should be aware that you will have to climb narrow stairs, and there is no lift. Also, those addicted to air conditioning. should know that the upstairs rooms can get warm. We were happy with opening windows and using the excellent supplied fans. Many thoughtful details, like fresh flowers in the room every day, carefully wrapped chocolates, slices of fruitcake, and a nice selection of coffee and teas were appreciated. Breakfast are offered at varied times, and with a nice choice of freshly made options. Above all, we appreciated the lovely staff, including Pina, Sarah, and several others. Sarah went above and beyond to help us arrange transportation, find interesting places to visit, etc..

The property and cleanliness was very good, however I’m not sure what constitutes service as there wasn’t any. No room cleaning or bed make up nor fresh towels…nothing. We tried calling for two fresh towels twice and emailed twice…sent to voicemail and no reply. The room was unbelievably hot and when we asked to have breakfast outside the cook was flustered and told us she already set the table inside. I would not recommend this site which was disappointing because it was adorable.

What a lovely, comfortable and darling spot to stay. Beautifully furnished, gorgeous bedroom and en-suite with delicious beds and towels. Generous breakfast too. Recommend!

Nice place,little expensive

Enjoyed our stay but we’re surprised they had no facilities such as lounge, bar. I did not notice that it was only b & b which was my fault, however for £180.a night I thought it was a bit pricey. When we booked our evening meal they only had 5.45 and it was outside, luckily it was not raining but was cool. The meal was beautiful, really good, but they were so busy, therefore it was a bit slow.
