“Fabulous stay. Staff were so helpful, shepherds hut was gorgeous and the setting was just so peaceful! This will most definitely be the first place I book when travelling to this area again!”

“Bought a night at Hollow bottom for my daughter and fiancé. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay and said that the bedroom and bed were a really good size. They also had a lovely meal in the evening. They would definitely recommend a stay here.”

“The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.”

“Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!”

“What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world.”

“Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again ”

“The place is idilic but there were a couple of flaws in the room (Dove Cote) that did nit make it for a prefect anniversary: 1) the room was too warm upon arrival and could not be cooled down due to the bathroom’ radiators being on with the towel one being very hot without ant controls to shut it down; 2) the toilet had to be actioned several times to get it to flush (very annoying)! Fixing these 2 things would make it for s very pleasant stay here. Best luck to the next guests.”
