“Very nice property. Mostly clean but being a cleaner myself I feel the doors and shaving mirror in the room could have done with a dust. Nice balcony, nice comfy bed and linen. Quiet at night. Nice bar area with nice outside area & with good snacks. Good for visits to the Cotswold villages etc. would stay again.”

“Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. They eventually resolved the issue and we managed to sleep, despite the very hard bed In the morning, the kettle was not working so we couldn't...

“Great price and value but reflected in overall condition of room. Liked clean and fresh linen, well stocked courtesy tray. But lumpy mattress and cramped bathroom spoiled the fundamental experience.”

“Lovely pub , super rooms with lovely features in a delightful setting. Food was good especially breakfast. Staff friendly and the garden was beautiful and we enjoyed eating a nice wood fired pizza out there.”

“The property was well positioned. The Cotswolds are BUSY, so it was great to have somewhere to stay out of the busyness. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was a great size (room 2). No aircon which was an issue in the latest heatwave. The staff did try to help by putting a fan in the room. We used the restaurant for dinner and there was a wide selection of choices. This can also be said about breakfast.”

“On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!”
