Didn't have dedicated car parking. The nearest option was confusing (no overnight or ยฃ2 for overnight) - it's a complete mystery. The entrance area, stairwell etc is very off-putting. Heavily stained carpets. Lots of noise during the night from outside

As I need crutches to walk I had booked, paid for and confirmed that I had an accessible room not one with a high walled bath. On arrival not only had we been given a room with a high sided bath, but a step to negotiate to get into it. In addition instead of my wife and I being in a double room we were put in a family room rather than go through a refund so the company didn't lose money. The desk staff attitude was well it wasn't me and there are only a couple of rooms and they have been given out. The end result, not only was I not able to wash my leg to change my dressing but we had to attend my niece's wedding not having had a shower on one of the hottest weekends of the year.

Christchurch Travel lodge was good. My Room was warm clean and comfortable for the cost. I didn't like the coffee it was a little too cheap.
