"It was a beautiful area, near the beach and cable car which takes you up to the city. The only issue I had was the mattress was really overly firm for my liking, but that was my preference. The breakfast was wonderful and sitting on the veranda and looking over the water completed the visit."

"I put easy parking because you will park in a lot and then take a free shuttle into town. However, then you have to tow your luggage around to Casa Turrisi and up a large flight of stairs to the reception up to your room on a tight staircase. The room was small but comfortable with a very compact bathroom that could use a good bleaching on the shower grout. It is quick walk to everywhere in town. "This is a lovely, professionally-run hotel. We paid extra for a balcony with a sea view and didn't regret it. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Driving and parking in Taormina is expensive and challenging. We paid 50 euros to park at Porta Pasquale for 3 nights. It's about a 5-10 minute walk downhill from the hotel. People had a really hard time figuring out how to use the parking machine, but eventually everyone did. They need better instructions. "
