โLoved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.โ
โJust had a brilliant stay. Studio was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Everything we needed for a short stay. Really well situated with easy access to central Edinburgh, walking distance to major fringe venues and Waverley station. Canโt fault it at all!โ
โWe attended specifically for the Edinburgh Fringe and the properties location on the Royal Mile was superb for the purpose. The property is lovely and the communications could not have been better.
It is harsh to be negative about the property however, on the basis of being even handed, i would say that particularly light sleepers might have struggled as, despite excellent sound proofing, some noise from the street below was inevitable particularly during the fringe. The bed was comfortable...
โRun like a hotel but with the feel of an apartment rental. This was the perfect stay. There was a ton of space, a laundry machine inside the apartment and the location was perfect! โ
"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, itโs a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.
