"About 06:35 on April 27th, 2026 a member of our party requested some coffee from the Front Desk attendant. He was downright mean, snapping that coffee would definitely NOT be available until after 07:00. We didn’t want breakfast, just a cup of coffee before we left on our tour. It was only when I told him that we were paying guests who leave reviews based upon our treatment when he stopped his rudeness. I do not know his name, but he was quite rotund & without much hair. Never again will we stay at the Travelodge Plus City Center in Dublin. The room was basic & institutional, more like a hospital room. The best was Ken, the concierge."

"This hotel was in a perfect location being just around the corner from O'Connell Street. Also, the Air Coach pick up and drop off point was literally around the corner not more than a few minutes walk on O'Connell Street near the big Dublin sign. Also, it was in short walking distance of many pick up and drop off points for bus tours. I found the staff to be quite friendly and courteous during my interactions with them. Breakfast was quite sufficient: hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal, breads, jams, pastries, yogurt, etc. The room was clean and maintained daily. I love that there was an ironing room as I like to wear button down shirts under sweaters. My only qualm is that I wasn't clear on how to arrange a noon check-in for an early arrival. I ended up having to wait out 4 hours in the lounge area before checking in. However, this is a very good place to stay for a reasonable enough price. I will definitely seek to stay here again the next time I am in Dublin."

"We had the misfortune to book this hotel for two different stays in one week. The rooms were dark and in horrible repair. There was a 30cm hole worn in the carpet in our room, the bathroom from was mismatched and had loose tiles, there was one overhead light in the whole room, which was cool white. No bedside lamps. The shower was weak and leaking all over the wall. The hotel is in a busy, noisy area. We had people screaming outside the rooms until 2-3am every day. Not a place we will stay again, especially at the ridiculous price we paid."
