โWe were truly delighted by our stay at the Observatory. In addition to being centrally located, the hotel is part of an arts center that has been reconstructed/renovated from the Christchurch earthquakes. The history is fascinating! We were treated well and felt welcome. Falling int the feather bed was like a dream after a long trip! โThe hotel was clean, well-kept and had all the amenities myself and my partner could possibly need, and the staff were a pleasure to interact with.
The location itself was brilliant, a short 3-5 min walk to the centre of town, and right across the road from the town hall, where we attended a concert during our stay. Another brilliant stay in a Quest hotel, and we will definitely be back some time soon.โ
