It's in a very convenient location for walking into town and to the sea front and pier. The beds were very comfortable and the decor in the bedroom was very special. Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely guest house in a great location. It was spotless! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room had everything you needed. Towels were a little hard but wouldn’t stop us staying again.

Very enjoyable stay the hosts were very accommodating. First class breakfast. The whole place was so clean but not uncomfortable or clinical. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Would stay again. One minor criticism the room was terribly hot, but otherwise a brilliant find.

I was greeted by very welcoming host gave me advice on local area. Room was beautiful clean and well layed out. Stay included a great cooked breakfast ordered the night before and cooked fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay hope to stay again

The guest house is lovely, the hosts were amazing and great breakfast. The only inconvenience for me is I would have preferred a late check out by 11 or 12 not 10...and breakfast to be served until at least 10 am...Being away and off work I wanted to sleep more in the mornings and have this flexibility to not wake up 8 am and breakfast to be served just between 8.30-9 am

A very clean and large top floor room. A lovely English breakfast. It suited our needs. Only downside - the shower cubicle is very small and there is little airflow in the room on a hot day

Overnight stay at the Adelaide

So much to say. Wonderful, friendly,chatty hosts, The house is spotless. They are so organised and work like clockwork. Nothing was too much bother for the hosts. It is asked that you vacate by 10 am but there was no rush for us to go. It's hard to express just how pleasant our stay was. Thankyou Pauline and Dave

Superb Guest House

One of the best I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. A good sign when I walked through the front door was the clean and fresh smell. The room was spacious and was very nicely decorated, bed was so comfy. It's obvious Dave and Pauline take great pride in their guest house as it was spotless and well decorated throughout with attention to detail. I enjoyed the well-cooked breakfast which has a wide choice and how it was delivered by Pauline on individual table trolleys. The location is very good as it's within easy walking distance of the pier, shops, restaurants etc. The weather was quite warm when I stayed so I left the bedroom window open at night and had no problem with outside noise or indeed inside noise from other guests so along with the comfy bed I had a great nights sleep. If you're staying in Clacton-on-Sea I can highly recommend Adelaide Guest House.
