Suburban Studios near Mesa Verde

Suburban Studios near Mesa Verde

10/10 Excellent
"The woman at the front desk was super nice! She helped me with some documents I needed printed, and checked to see how we liked our room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and the black out blinds worked great. I would stay again the next time we go through Cortez."

Holiday Inn Express Mesa Verde-Cortez by IHG

8/10 Good
"The coffee machines at breakfast were a bottle neck and the breakfast was cold the first day. The rooms were clean and nice. They were quiet and comfortable except for the bedspread which seemed to get tangled up easily because it was so thin. It was close to our destination of Mesa Verde so we would stay again."

Retro Inn at Mesa Verde

10/10 Excellent
"Such a fun place to stay! The retro-themed decor was fanastic and really clever, loved how each room celebrated a different star from the old days. We ate at the Main Street Brewery on Main Street--food was great and also a fun place."

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Very smoke smelling in the lobby. Designated Smoking lounge smoke seeped into the lobby. You could also smell smoke in the elevator and a good portion of the hallway on our floor. However, our room did not have a smoky smell. Hotel at night was pretty quiet too. The Ute Mt website was not accurate in describing restaurant offerings Daily Buffets were listed....Primecrib buffet on Saturday, BBQ on Sunday. No Buffets we available except salad and soup bar. Looking forward to a buffet with lots of choices."

National 9 Inn Sand Canyon

National 9 Inn Sand Canyon

8/10 Good
"The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first choice" for staying in Cortez, but it was there when we needed it (and didn't have to fight with elevators or long flights of stairs, which is very difficult for my spouse to deal with)."
