Inn at Evergreen

"Check-in was easy and fast. Staff gave us a short tour and brief history of the property (and it was in the welcome book too). The room, bed, chairs were perfectly cozy and quiet enough, even though it was near the front entry. Breakfast (included) at the country club’s grill room was the nothing special but nice to have in such a remote area if you don’t want to go out. We didn’t get to enjoy the porch or other outdoor spaces because it was windy and rainy, but the view was very nice. We enjoyed a tour of a local grist mill, and had an amazing dinner just down the road after a day at one of the many wineries in the area. The next morning we stopped to see Middleburg. The inn is in an ideal location for a weekend getaway."

"Everything was very good Except the complimentary breakfast. Even if it is free, it should still be tasty. I would rather have to pay and have good food, good coffee and real cream. I wish the local food could be featured."

"We were only there for one night to sleep and then get on the road again. The room was clean and comfortable although the smell of weed was pretty bad. I am surprised the hotel didn't have a problem with it and it was clear what room it was coming from. Do better Marriott."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn, in Front Royal. My wife and I took a trip to do a hiking weekend in Shenandoah National Park. With the hotel being close to the park, as well as just outside a relatively large town, so we'd have stuff to do in the evenings, the location was great. The room was very comfortable, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, and they had a great breakfast (which opened early...key for getting a really early start to the day before we hit the trails) The only downside was, we did pick the hotel based off all those factors, but as well as it having an indoor pool. After a day hiking up and down Old Rag, a late afternoon in the pool to decompress and recover was going to be what we needed...unfortunately we did not find out until after we arrived, the pool was out of service. So that was a little disappointing, but we made the best of it."

"The hotel is in a great location for access to the Shenandoah National Park and a short walk in to historic Front Royal. Whilst it appears a little tired it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a little basic compared to others but for the price it was good value."

"The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom including shower were large. Had refrigerator, microwave, iron board & iron, but no coffee maker. Washing machines were new if your an extended stay guest. Staff was fantastic, very helpful, accommodating to requests and friendly. Breakfast service was as expected. Unfortunately the exterior property needs maintenance and 2nd floors don’t have elevators, but corridors and rooms are good. More than enough parking. Is a good value stay."
