โWonderful setting. We stayed in 'Pepper Cottage' and felt like we were in the jungle - but in a safe way. Best massages we had in Sri Lanka. Also the best breakfast - it was just so beautifully prepared.
Location is set back off a main road - which you cannot hear - but this meant it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants.โ
โOur 7 days at DCanal were lovely, itโs very peaceful, tucked away in the back streets. The free tuk tuk service to the town was very helpful. The pool, the staff, and the beaches nearby were a wonderful place to unplug. โ
โWe stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bedโs mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our childโs needs....
โThe staff was amazing the chef made some of the best food I have ever tasted!! He was very sweet and very involved in all aspects of the villas. The curry was out of this world as well as the pasta 10 out of 10 all around. The room was large and beautiful, you felt like you had the place to yourself very highly recommend!!!โ
โStaff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. โ
โThe apartment is well situated. Just a short walk to Mirissa Beach. The owner is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Nice quality for reasonable pricing. Breakfast was good. โ

โMy friend and I stayed at Somerset for 3 nights. Our room was on the first floor, overlooking the pool, which we absolutely loved. We could reach the (infinity) pool through our balcony (a simple climb over the wooden railing, hehe). As expected of a new hotel, the room condition was good - very, very clean and lovely interiors. The bedding, matress and pillows were super comfy. Of course, it also meant that a few essentials, like the vanity kit, coffee maker, mini bar, were missing. I am sure...
โWe had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond.
Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening.
Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. โ

The room was clean, comfortable, and the property was very peaceful. A lovely family-run guest house that provides a relaxing stay. โ
