โQuinta da Vacaria was absolutely wonderful. The views from the hotel of the Douro terrain is magical. The staff is friendly and helpful which makes the visit extra special. An added bonus is the wine making facility on the property. We enjoyed a tour of the winery and tasted their wines in the perfect setting. โ
โCasa de Canilhas is the most beautiful property. Staying here was like a dream. The view of the Douro valley & river are breathtaking. The rooms have a rustic vineyard feel, but are beautifully upgraded with modern standards. The infinity pool was perfect temperature & overlooking the valley of grape vines. The daily breakfast was delicious and so fresh. More than enough. the staff was very pleasant & have the property in pristine condition and well maintained. I canโt wait to come back. โ

โExcellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend.
Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. โ
โBeautiful farm...people were very helpful...lovely setting...and great wines and information about wines and ports. Only issue was finding the place...they do not have a sign at the entrance to the property.โ
โExcellent hotel, first impression very good the reception team, due to our Platanium membership upgraded the room. They also helped in staying an extra night and keeping same room and arranging a wine tasting and lunch at the hotels winery 10 minutes away. Bar and restaurant serve great food and drinks and you can look over the Duoro river from both, and also eat and drink on the terrace. โThe most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!โ
