“Lovely setting and wonderful hosts”

“The property was what we hoped. The issue we had was not typical but it maybe worth noting. After our stay we noticed we had left an expensive jacket behind. After many failed attempts to reach the hotel we have accepted the loss. After unanswered emails and lengthy times on hold and finally speaking to someone we were asked to call back the next day. We followed their direction and called the next day. Unfortunately that was the last time we had any communications with the hotel. We called many...

“The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I booked it it stated it had a bathtub but it was a shower. Also it said it had a hot tub but it was broken. The shower water was spraying everywhere. The wifi doesn’t have great reception tv doesn’t work as it can’t connect to wifi. Staff is very nice but it stated on website they speak Portuguese and English, no one speaks English there the owner did use google translate. It’s very clean and beautiful hotel. ”
