“What a unique find - such a nice boutique hotel in Dalton! The room was very clean, decor pleasing, bed super comfortable, and the staff very helpful and courteous! We didn't have time this visit to take advantage of the workout room, but it's a nice size and good variety. We were able to take advantage of their lovely continental breakfast - perfect coffee, and wonderful pastries. The Carpentry is truly a gem!!!”

“The only issue was ice machines on floors Only main floor worked But that one also had purified water. Which was nice. I travel with my small dog and there were lots of dog people which was nice.”

“The hotel is in a convenient location. It is an older facility that has been updated but is still quite worn around the edges. The breakfast is pretty crummy, thought there is a good selection. The eggs were powdered (of course!), but the yogurt had a weird texture and the "raisin bran" tasted like chemicals. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking. The free wifi is unsecured (of course) and VERY slow. I used the hotspot on my cell pone because it was much faster.”

“I was a little put off when checking in and there was a $100 incidental fee. I did not see anything mentioned when booking on Expedia so I was not expecting it. Once I got into the room there was a small stain on the bed sheet on one of the beds and 2 drawers would not close all the way and stuck out a little. I think for the price it’s okay.”

“What a wonderful welcome we had. We got in late, with our kids, and had just intended to sleep on our way to Orlando. Mom and dad needed to unwind but the bar was closed. The gentleman who checked us in recommended some wines, that are available through the hotel and grabbed us some wine glasses. We are so grateful for his extra care, even when we were there for just a short stay.”
