The property was poorly cleaned. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty. There were stains on the sheets. The staff was friendly but the facility was old and poorly maintained.

The staff was very nice but the property is very old and run down. The couch in our room had so many stains we were afraid to sit on it or even put any clothes etc on it.

Everything was really good - check-in, cleanliness, and quiet at the time of entrance. When we got to the room we didnt have working lamps, outlets, and there were items left from previous renters. Since we had gotten there kinda late we decided just to go to sleep and that was not good either - the walls are thin because we could hear the people next door singing, talking loud and even when they were in the shower. We turned on the air conditioner and it somewhat helped with the noise. Breakfast was really good - customer service was excellent - Good luck on your stay!

The only issue we had was that there were ants in our room. This seemed to be an isolated incident. They upgraded us to a different room and were very accommodating throughout our weekend stay. Good people and good value. Would definitely stay here again

Room is spacious, and clean, like the not carpet floor, staff is friendly. They allowed us to check out late because my son’s golf tournament ended like 1:30pm. Great service!

When we arrived on property the clerk was away from the check in counter. There was a note at the desk that she was helping another guest and would be right back. A couple of minutes later she returned. Apparently she was dealing with a guest that arguing and bc of that she upgraded our room so that we would not have to listen to them in case another argument broke out. We thought that was very considerate and nice of her.

The hotel would have gotten 5 stars but they used so much air freshener in the lobby that it gave me a horrible headache. There was no need to have that much air freshener. Other than that the hotel was fine and fairly priced.

Well first I notice black body hair in the tub and a dirty towel in bathroom .. I cleaned the tub and threw the dirty looking towel in the corner and thought I hated to complain .. then we ate pizza and showered, went to turn back the bed cover and noticed black body hair on the sheets, not hair from a persons head!! There was hairs all down the sheets and the sheets were wringled as someone had slept in the bed ! I called the front desk and told her what we had found, she said she would have to move us to a clean room and for me not to come there, she would bring the key to the new room to me ! When she got there she said I hate when this happens and I’ll tell my boss .. I said so this has happened before and she nodded yes ! They offered no compension of any type !

The stay was ok. Shower was not great and tub was very slippery and dangerous, they should consider out bath mat. Beds were not very comfortable had a stiff neck every morning. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming so that helped a little for the negatives.

The room was very clean, staff was super nice, and the location was convenient to a lot of restaurants. Only negative was that the mini fridge didn't work but I find most hotels have this problem. I highly recommend staying here, and is priced right. Next time I'm in town I will stay here again.

Overall it was good. It was at a great location of where I needed to be. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. The only negative thing I have to say was that there was a Doritos crumbs on the floor when I arrived. The water heater thing in the room only worked once and then it stopped working the morning I was checking out.

Everything was great! The beds were hard as a rock but bearable. A Couple more or better quality pillows would have been better other that that it was great for the price!

Disappointed.
I was there for A&M graduation. The girls at the desk were very kind. However, the manager, PORTER not so much. We encountered a problem with one of our family members coming in late and they did not call to let the hotel know they were running late. Of course their room was given to someone else. These were the graduates' grandparents who had no idea they had to call in. This left them without a room. They were devastated. The manager did not handle this situation well at all. Whether it was policy (which I never found on the website) or not, he could have kindly offered suggestions. But all he did was say, there were no rooms anywhere and that was that. We made it work out for ourselves by sharing rooms...BUT MR.PORTER was/is NOT management material.
