We enjoyed a quiet 1 bedroom with my 1 young kids on the sofabed. Our room was great except for an uncomfortable mattress. The outdoor basketball court was an added bonus.

Family Stay

We were in town for a family gathering. since classes were not in session at TAMU, the hotel and own were not crowded. The desk clerk applied my Marriott member number to our stay and even upgraded our room without being asked. The service was great. Hotel was clean and comfortable as usual (I have stayed here before). I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The studios are well sized with nicely spaced bed and living space. Having a kichenette helps a lot on extended stays. The free breakfast, although not elaborate is good to have rather than having to leave the hotel searching for one

We needed a great stay...AND GOT ONE! Whoop!

We were in town moving our daughter into a home for school. My wife, myself and our dog Sully were all exhausted by the time we got to the hotel...after 9:30 pm. The Jr. Olympics had wrapped up Saturday, so there were alot of guests on the patio celebrating. The lady that checked us in at the front desk, let us know that we didn't need to worry about the noise because by 11:00 they would be quite. She was spot on! The room was great...clean, the bed comfortable and even though we were by the elevator, we never heard any noise.

The hotel is new and in good condition. Free breakfast has a lot of options. Parking is easy. Beds are comfortable -- the foldout couch is not, and there wasn't enough bedding for the foldout -- just 1 flat sheet, a pillow with no pillowcase, and a sad little blanket. However, we couldn't sleep. The air conditioner was super loud and cycled on and off, with the air blowing directly on the bed. When the AC was on, the room was cool and comfy, but as soon as it turned off, the room turned hot and stuffy.
