I stay here every few weeks and totally recommend this place. Sometimes I just don't want to commute back and forth for events to St. Louis, so this Motel 6 is convenient. Always friendly staff at check-in and room is clean. I stay at a lot of Motel 6 across the country when traveling and this one is affordable and well worth the money spent. If you're doing things in St. Louis, this place is easy to drive to and from without being a pain on the short commute on I-64.

The room was great! Definitely dog friendly. The mattress is Definitely firm. Seems fairly new. If I had to state a complaint the bed is a little hard for my taste. But you can not please everyone!! I was impressed at 3 in morning the staff was sweeping and mopping the reception area!!!

The staff was great. She was very quick about checking me in after I've been awake for over 24 hours. It was very quiet. The bed wasnt very comfortable though. If i hadnt been so tired i probably wouldn't of slept a lot.

Room could use a really good cleaning. Staff was friendly and overall decent place. Overusing fabulouso does not constitute a clean room, fumes were so strong I had trouble breathing first day.

The check-in process was very easy, front desk lady was very friendly and the hotel overall felt safe. Only issue, our bedding was stained and the towels were very hard, as if they were old/over washed. Other than that, our stay was great!

Smelled cigarettes all night.

Smelled like smoke everywhere. Looks like maybe people are staying here long-term. I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of the bar. People must be smoking in other rooms which is going through the cracks in the walls or something. Overall, it was a cheap hotel room and that’s exactly what I got was a cheap hotel room. There was a view of the arch from the third floor rooms. Not the best view though, but I could see it. The bed was extremely hard. Overall, the room, however, was clean. Might be a good location for somebody traveling for construction that wants an extremely cheap room. Forget that picture of that pool. It’s outside and it’s closed. The only great thing was my truck and trailer did not get broken into and nothing was stolen while I slept.

The windows in the first room they offered wasn't secured properly, then the safety latch on the doors wasn't installed tightly. In addition to the thin walls, loud traffic and rude front desk clerk. I would not recommend this location.

It looked like there was some recent renovations as there was caulk or paint left in the bathroom sink and tub. Beds and floors were clean. Online it said breakfast was included but they did not have breakfast available. Did not have coffee or water available when we checked in but did have it in the morning. The price was very reasonable. Staff was distracted and not very friendly at check in.

I just needed a quick getaway for the night. The check-in was smooth and the clerks where very polite. There was an issue with the ac in my room not working, but they switched my room asap and even upgraded it. I would definitely return.

Stayed one night. Staff was nice. Hallways smelled like cigarettes. TV in the room was small and had LED lights showing thru so you had 18 bright white lights on the screen. Old spring bed with 2 flat pillows. The bathroom door did not lock and the toilet seat was falling off. There was also what appeared to be mold on the inside of the bathroom light cover wich had a layer of dust on it also. For the price I would of thought this to be a better property. Spend extra ten dollars and stay down the road.

These guys are especially fantastic. I travel to St. Louis every weekend and was looking for somewhere that would let me bring my pet, had restaurants and public transpo within walking distance, but wouldn't break the bank. Happened upon this place after seeing a nice cash back reward for it on retail me not. Gave it a chance and have been back every weekend ever since. The good: It's right by Cracker Barrel, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, and a 24 hour gas station. Vending machines in the lobby. It's a 3 minute walk from a bus stop and even tho that bus doesn't run on Sundays, worst case scenario it's a little over a mile from the bus terminal and I'm fine to walk. They always handle check in quickly and professionally, and even frequently give me the same room as previous stays. They've been very generous and patient with me when I needed last-minute early/late check in/outs. The area is safe for a woman walking alone, even late at night. Never had issues with noisy or rude guests. The floors are not carpeted anywhere, but I prefer the hardwood. The bad: It's missing some basic amenities. No toiletries except a bar of soap. No hairdryer. The big one: no alarm clock. So no clock in the room other than my phone. And they knock to clean before check out, which makes me feel rushed. Last time my they ok'd a late check out (left @11:37) but had knocked 3 times by then to see if I was ready yet. But overall I'm very happy there & highly recommend it.
