Clean room Friendly staff Surprise that there were so many amenities in the kitchen! Two burner stove, full fridge, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. You can even request additional appliances. You are a few minutes away from a Walmart so you can buy things to cook. Close to highways and fast food options. About 15 minutes away from the military base.

This was a very disappointing stay. The pool was green and had algae growing in it. The TV in the room was fickle and only worked if you jiggled the wire behind it. The garbage disposal partially worked. The shower doors did not shut completely and water went everywhere. The bathroom Sink was broken. The staff were nice but couldn’t really do Anything about these challenges. They had no maintenance person.

Expedia should no longer offer contracts with this facility. They are disgusting and scamming people. The front desk workers all just need a job so they could care less about helping customers properly. The facility in a whole, needs to be audited. The food in the lobby is old. The pool looks like a swamp lake of still water. The location is all the way over there and no one was helpful, for anything. The only positive experience was the young lady who came to clean my room. And she was fairly new and over worked but kind.

I arrived at around 11ish to midnight, exhausted, and in need of a shower. On arrival I met with the girl at the desk (Heather) who was kind, courteous, and helpful. Heather checks me in. I’m assigned a single room, one bed, with a kitchenette. First thing, I heat up the oatmeal I purchased from the kiosk downstairs and reach for a spoon in the drawer - the spoon is filthy with grit and stains stuck to it. (Strike - 1) I also notice the room had a weird musty smell. (Strike - 2) Then I walk in the shower and notice that the shower grate is lifted up and there are mold stains all around the corners of the shower and the l base boards were filthy. (Strike - 3) I go downstairs, talk to Heather; she’s so nice and accommodating she offers to switch my room. Switched rooms and notice the shower was in better condition; however, the lounge chair was stained. There looked like a red blood stain on the curtain, and the base boards in the shower had yellow stains (leave it to your imagination what it looked like). If this posting lets me add pictures I definitely will. So I’m over it, I contact customer service through the Candlewood Suites website to contact management (because managers don’t work at night). They were super helpful, they get my info and contact the desk to have the manager contact me at 8am the next day. To say the least, management did not make an attempt to call me the next day. I went to the desk at 8:30am, and naturally, management was not on site.

Pros: the staff is very nice and the property overall looks nice. Location is convenient to base and graduation fields, as well as some shopping and minimal food choices. Cons: was very disappointed to arrive after a 9 hour drive to a dirty room. Staff was prompt and friendly when brought to their attention, but it did make me wear shoes the entire time, even in the shower, and keep all my belongings on the hard surfaces.

I called the day before the visit about a late check-in and was told there was someone at the desk 24-7. When we arrived we waited for 30 minutes to be helped. No one was there to check us in or answer the phone for help.
