Weekend visit. Had a problem with the TV and were not able to fix it I assume because maintenance wasnt working on the weekend. After a day I was switched to another room. Would have been appropriate to have updates from the front desk as to what was happening and when. No offer of a partial refund. Not what I expect from this chain.

We were in Columbus because we had placed my mother-in-law in hospice. The manager and staff were very kind and helped us find an extra night. This is a wonderful place to stay, It was quiet, clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

Price higher than advertised because of additional casino-related taxes. Beds were not that comfortable. Front desk clerk charged my credit card twice and then couldn't fix it (also didn’t apologize or appear to care for her mistake). After having to explain the double charges to the manager multiple times, he eventually offered bonus points for the hassle - turns out the amount of bonus points he gave me is equivalent to a free coffee from Starbucks, but of course he made it sound like it was worth more. And the additional charge is still on my credit card! Never staying here again

I have a problem with the music that plays outside behind the hotel 24/7. It is loud and annoying. There were no guests out there. From 11 pm to 7 am is is especially annoying. When I asked the front desk about it, they asked what floor I was on (3rd). The said I should not be able to hear the outside music on the third floor! That makes me feel so much better about it! I can't imagine what it sounded like on the 2nd and 1st floor. Not a problem I won't be staying there again. I also have a problem with making a Marriott reservation through expedia. After I made the reservation I found out I am not eligible for marriott reward points because expedia gets a substancially reduced room rate. I'm not sure what difference that makes points are established by the cost of the room. More points for more expensive rooms, and less for less expensive rooms. Except through expedia. Then you get no points. I now understand that the reduced rate room was the room Marriott couldn't market (outside noise), so give it to expedia. Let them market it for a reduced rate. I note that the rate was not better through expedia. Just about the same.

Stayed the night here because my daughter had surgery at Columbus hospital the next morning. Everything was perfect minus the fact I was charged for more taxes and then had to run my card for incidentals a second time. Not sure why this is but I already pay for the room and taxes thru hotels.com

This area looks very new - with the casino right next door - the hotel seems really new as well. Our room was very nice; although it didn’t have a luggage rack, which was minor. Large shower, fluffy towels (but lacking much for towel bars), and in room shampoo and supplies are top notch. The breakfast was extensive: scrambled or hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, toasting variety, yogurt with MANY toppings, hot oatmeal also with numerous toppings and BACON!! Coffee, milk and various juices made this an outstanding buffet style breakfast. Oh, and had the weather been warm, the patio outside the breakfast area looked very inviting! So all in all, this hotel gets high marks from my husband and me. We will stay here again on our way through - and maybe even have time to hit the casino next door!

The first room had not been cleaned. Switched to the second room which had been "cleaned" but somehow there was still a razor, hair and soap residue in the shower from the last guests. So clearly that was not cleaned. At least the beds were clean i guess.

Room was good and clean, check in is very slow. Booked on line through Expedia membership, all payment details are same and never have such slow process staying other places. Scan card twice ect. I have stayed here multiple times over past several months and always slow check in process

Beware. You pay Expedia. The motel will ask for your credit card for incidentals and when you ask them what for they say if towels or something is missing. Nothing else was said. When we arrived home there were charges on our credit card. When we called them they said it was for taxes. Not Right they should have told us at time of check in. Never again will we stay there. Not the money amount it is the PRINCIPAL of charging our card without telling us.

The staff was extremely rude. They add on charges on top of your fully paid Expedia charge because they don’t like that they are being booked by a third part app. When asked for a refund they sent me down the line of employees to tell me Expedia has their own extra charges. I’ve been using Expedia for almost 20 years and I’ve never had this happened. There was also a very strong smoke smell coming into our room to the point it was making me and my daughters cough. I would not recommend this hotel at all!

Is a very nice Hotel! The only complaint I have is that there were very few people in the hotel and they put a very LOUD !!! Couple right nest to our room, couldn’t even here are own TV ! The front desk person told me there wouldn’t be any one right next to us. Not very nice to do !
