“Sub travel lodge. Worn out, dirty and £17 for a glass of wine and a bottle of beer, food is frozen brakes brothers style.. only saving grace was that the staff try hard. Owners and management should be ashamed that they make their staff operate in a such a hovel of a place. Premier Inn, while basic is 1000% nicer (and cleaner). No aircon, grubby room, dirty shower, grubby common areas, ordinary food, one ironing board in the whole place, broken lift, wet carpet in room and room smelt of cat...

Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

“No lift to rooms, only a mature female was available, she offered to take luggage. No fridge in the room and no iron in the room. Had to carry iron and ironing board from reception to the bedroom. Not a great choice for vegetarians.”
