“The resort is old and needs upkeep. There is no microwave or mini refrigerator in the room. Air conditioning is very loud. Location is good. I stayed in a downstairs unit and sound transmission from the upstairs unit is terrible.”

“My stay was not good, for the price I paid I should of had a little better of a stay.. staff was not helpful, housekeeping didn't come around to give clean towels and the blanket and comforter both on the bed had a nasty musty/pee smell and when I went to the front desk to ask for different ones, I was told housekeeping had left for the day and front desk "didn't have keys" for the clean linen closet that the housekeeper took it with her so I had to "deal" with the stinky blankets and no clean...

“Our room in the lodge was in a pretty good condition, maintenance-wise. We have seen reviews to the contrary, however were pleasantly surprised. River view was not jaw-dropping, however just fine for relaxed pastime on the deck. The manager says that they clean bird droppings on the deck regularly, but the birds keep coming back. Other things to be aware of: no staff on site outside of office hours 9-6. Instead we called their call center, the lady there was very welcoming and helpful. Wi-Fi...

“We were offered an upgrade in the room upon our arrival. The room was large, clean, and filled with beautiful antiques and several windows. The staff was responsive to any needs that we had. I must give kudos for the included breakfast. The vanilla Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and the house-made chocolate espresso granola made me feel like I was having a healthy dessert for breakfast.”

“Nice clean room, with easy checkin and parking right outside the door. We were on the ground floor I’d recommend the upper level as ground floor soundproofing is not great.”

“It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe.”
