10/10 Excellent

"ROW NYC is an excellent choice for your stay in New York! Located 5 minutes from Times Square it is ideally positioned in the heart of the theatre district allowing you to experience all the city has to offer. The hotel was clean and efficiently run. Check in/out was streamlined and we experienced no wait times. The staff are the hidden gems at this site. The manager Dan was phenomenal going above and beyond to help resolve a tech glitch with my US roaming plan from my Canadian provider. Over the course of our visit I saw him interacting with other guests as well as engaging with his staff. Amazing- management!! Our front desk receptionist Yara was friendly and helpful as well. The luggage storage staff were also friendly and eager to share good places to watch the NYKnicks playoff games! To sum it up our experience was five stars plus!! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next trip to New York!"

"The property has a great location in central Manhattan. The physical premises appear to be under construction. There is not lobby to speak of, and the organization of elevators is complex and confusing. Our room was clean, but the facilities showed a lot of wear. Price does include a free breakfast, although it is extremely basic. Our objection had to do with the check-inn process. We arrived at 3:50 for a scheduled 4:00 PM check-in and were told we had to wait. We returned 45 minutes later and were informed there was no room available which matched the room we had reserved via Expedia. We ended up in a tiny room with (literally) barely space to turn around, and instead of a City view we had a back wall view."

"Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your honest experience but sounds clear and balanced: I didn’t enjoy the first couple of nights of my stay. When I booked the hotel, I didn’t realize the room was an ADA/accommodations room. The shower setup was very inconvenient for us — water splashed everywhere, including the toilet paper and our clothes. The sink and room layout were also designed differently for accessibility needs, and there was no dresser or desk to put our belongings since the room needed extra space for a wheelchair. The next morning we went to the front desk to ask about changing rooms, but the lady helping us was very rude and told us there were no other rooms available. Thankfully, the following day another front desk employee named Melody was very kind and helpful and was able to find us a different room. We paid good money for the stay, and while I understand this is New York and the location is prime, the customer service did not feel welcoming or accommodating. Because of our experience, we would not stay here again. They said that was Hotel.com mistake not theirs."
