“The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

“Excellent stay at the hotel just outside of Galway city. Very helpful staff, modern and clean room with air conditioning which was great as the weather was warm and humid. Nice included breakfast with our room including a tasty continental selection as well as a cooked breakfast in addition. Excellent location for a day trip to the Aran Islands with the ferry terminal less than 30 minutes away.
