“This is one of my favorite places to stay. The owners are super, the rooms are clean with plenty of space, and it is located close to the northeast entrance of Yellowstone. Cooke City is a cute little mountain town and the Alpine Motel adds to the charm.”

“The owner was super friendly and seemed to really care about his guests. The staff was eager to please and the room was comfortable. This hotel is minutes from the East entrance of Yellowstone and close to Lamar Valley for those seeking to see or photograph wildlife. As a wildlife photographer, I will be booking here in the future as my base camp for exploring more of Yellowstone. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay an enjoyable experience.”

“Nice propertty. Store is nice. Everything was supplied and clean. Location is beautiful and just outside the NE gate to Yellowstone. I booked through expedia, and it was a few months ago, but i don't remember anything about a cleaning fee. I am even OK with the fee if i was aware of it. Only other issue was there was still no cell service and the cabins do not have wifi. Some people prefer this. There is wifi at the store and is free.”
