Corfe Castle Village

Wareham

Corfe Castle is a fortification standing above the village of the same name in the English county of Dorset. Built by William the Conqueror, the castle dates back to the 11th century and commands a gap in the Purbeck Hills on the route between Wareham and Swanage.

We didn't use the Spa which I am sure is lovely, its an additional cost and we didn't have time. The lobby is also ok, its the rooms! The bed was comfy but the bath, shower attachment and shower curtain were from the 1970's as was the furniture in the room - minimal toiletries - 2 mini shampoo bottles! ...

The staff was nice . The room was clean but no hooks for clothes and no hooks for towels in the bathroom ! The swimming pool was very small and we could not use it because was too busy . Breakfast was nice except the coffee .
