“Room was nice and clean and fit for purpose .Only negative would be a bottle of water not left as arrived later due to a wedding in a nearby venue so couldn't go at check in time ..Access easy to enter. Overall very nice .”

“Owner Dave and his daughter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Summer Hill Guest House in a very good location to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent and there was a large choice available for all tastes. Parking was good but would be a bit awkward in busy periods. Room was clean and had a very good shower. We had room 2 and if you're like me 6ft 4 watch your head as you enter...also it would have been better if there was a couple of chairs and table rather then a small fold out...

“helped by being found a downstairs room on suite as we are both disabled. Room was mall but adequate. Only parking was over the road in a pay car park. as we did not move the car for two days it was only £20 for the 48 hrs.”

“Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. ”
