"Fantastic historic hotel right next to the Palmela castle. The rooms are big and we had a 2nd floor corner room which meant we had double the panoramic views.
Breakfast was great with a huge choice of meats / cheeses / pastries / fruit / eggs etc and staff were very attentive.
The only down point was the cost of the bar - €3.50 for a very small glass of beer was outrageous - no wonder there were no people in there! The pricing of everything else was as you would expect for a nice hotel, so the bar pricing was unexpected.
The hotel is only 40-45 minutes for Lisbon airport, so this makes a great stop either at the start or end of your visit to Portugal and I'm sure we'll be back."
