“What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city.”

“We stayed there one night on our way from Doolin. There's mostly accommodations in that area and Glasha Meadows is conveniently near town. We texted our host after we were done with The Cliffs of Moher. She met us out front and took us to our unit. Easy. Our unit had three comfortable beds and was clean and cozy. Nice bathroom. Some other little touches like a comfy sofa and a skylight that had a cover so no bright light at dawn. Our host was friendly and had good recs for places to eat, Sean...

“The heat is controlled by the staff and is turned on from 9-11:00pm (only) It was extremely cold ( it actually hailed in the afternoon) and I had to ask for a second comforter - in addition to the extra blanket in the closet. ”

“We needed a room for the night so could visit Galway in the morning. Room was Clean and the staff was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was actually amazing and we were pleasantly surprised. Would recommend if you're ok with staying a bit out of the city centre. Free parking included ! ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
