โWe looked into the lake which was beautiful. And the space was very nice , no light on the patio if you like to sit outside. The club house level wasnโt available as they were window washing and closed the hot tub so didnโt have use of that or the gym
However the area is spectacular and you donโt need to drive anywhere. We loved the area and will return. โ
โI loved my stay. It was a very clean and pleasant place. I loved the 24 hour pool and hot tub. The best was that I could also stay in a great place with my dog. I would love to stay with them again when I travel again.โ
โThis is a decent hotel for the price range. The front staff was very friendly and pleasant, welcomed us with a big smile. Room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. There was a note from room service staff welcoming us. They had online check in and check out system, which worked well. โ
โReally canโt ask for a better location. Itโs right on the edge of the main downtown area and minutes walk to the water front. I especially like the parking set up- right outside your door.
Itโs got old school Route 66 charm and though not full of the usual amenities itโs a great place to call it a night after spending all day visiting the area.โ
โWe had an absolutely amazing time at the Blackwell Inn. Check-in was super easy with texts, as it is all self-check-in. They give ample details so we werenโt left wondering about anything. Parking was street parking, though we never walked more than a quarter block, but often was right in front of the hotel. โThe lodge was recently renovated and looked almost new. The interior is really cute, clean and comfortable. The little balcony on the back was a nice bonus.
The Vantage Point Brewery just a short walk down the road was really good too.โ

โGreat value. The bathroom fixtures were fairly new and in good repair. Large TV with good channel lineup. Pancake machine to go with pre-made cheese omelet and sausage patty for a good breakfast, although no fruit was offered. I was very happy with my multi-day stay.โ
โMy request for a ground floor room was honored. My room was clean. My cat was permitted to stay, unlike with many other so-called โpet friendlyโ facilities.
