“Lovely location, our room had a wonderful view of Loch Fynne. Only a short trip to go into Argyle. Sue and Alice make a great breakfast. They are quite knowledgeable about the area and very helpful.”
“lovely old hotel that needs attention especially in the rooms. Staff was good and bad. Front desk staff was excellent but the children behind the downstairs bar were worthless. Very loud due to highland games closing. Be prepared for the complete lack of parking.”
“The room was clean but overall hotel needs lots of TLC. Only seen one member of staff. He was receptionist, bartender and possibly waiting on breakfast tables, so he was kept going.
For what we paid for overnight stay, we have no complaints. Main thing was the room and en suite were clean. If you want 5 star you need to be prepared to pay a lot more than this hotel charges. Overall it did the job.”
