This wasn’t our first time staying here and it was just as expected, it is our forever home whenever visiting Aviemore what more is there to say other than just get yourself booked in if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Aviemore. ”

“My husband and I spent two nights at this gem of a traditional country hotel while attending the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Mark, the proprietor and his entire staff, could not have been more friendly, gracious and accommodating! Fabulous breakfasts and lovely public rooms including a cozy bar with fireplace seating. Bedroom spacious and comfortable. And we also attended a festival whisky pairing dinner at the hotel that was truly delicious created by Mark's wife who is the chef. ”

“It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.”

“Not our first time and not our last at the Woodland lodges. Great deal for families or groups. Lodge is roomy and well maintained. In the heart of Aviemore, easy to walk the strip. Had great weather so walked everyday. Breakfast buffet welcome start to the day. ”
