Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases. Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table. Good value for money.

We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. The location was great for walking and lots of food choices nearby.

We did ask on the second morning if we could all eat breakfast in the conservatory area and were told no we had to sit at our allocated tables, this did seem a bit strange but it did not detract from our enjoyment . Absolutely lovely staff so helpful. Huge choice at breakfast served by friendly helpful staff. Food well cooked and presented. Bike repair issue meant we could not leave for home until much later in the day. Offered the use of residents lounge for waiting. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in the family room at Cairngorm Guest House. Super clean and comfortable with an incredible breakfast service included before we headed out for a day of adventuring! We really appreciated the drying room at the property after our brief and rainy visit! Parking was a bit tight, but adequate, so we loved that there were several dining options in walking distance too!
