โFantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitalityโฆ..
Easy walk into the village too, where thereโs shops and a couple of very good pubs too.
We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longerโฆ.
Hell Yeah!โ
โIdeal location for exploring the Peak District. Lovely quiet pretty little village. The room is above a fabulous cafe where the food was great and the staff were so helpful and informative, they gave us some great tips on where to visit. Highly recommend this place and the cafe.โ
โLea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded.
The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and canโt wait to return โ
โAccomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast.
The listing states that there is free parking but this isnโt true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as itโs false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...
โThis was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet.โ
โIt's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.โ
